31st October 2004 McCormicks Halloween Bash.

Well its gone again Freddy Krueger held it for one week and now its gone to Jaret Llewellyn reaching a new magic mark of 240 feet or 73.2m!!

Second place was Freddy Krueger with 71.3m (234 ft) and third, Jason Seels with 69.5m. Will get all the official scores to you soon.

Jeff Rogers nearly got a piece of the action scoring 4.00 @ 10.25m (41 off)


26th October 2004 Well after seeing the longest jump in history McCormicks are doing it again this week end Seffner will see the Halloween Bash and this time the best jumpers in the world will be there to get a piece of the world record action.

Tanya emailed us to say that the entry list includes Freddy Krueger, Jaret Llewellyn, Jason Seels, Ryan Dodd, Ryan Fitts, Jimmy Siemers and Scot Ellis.

24th October 2004 McCormick Fall Open from Seffner. I knew we couldn't go though the year without the mens jump record falling and here it is, on form Freddy Krueger improved on his Saturday score to jump 72.1m (236 ft)

Rhoni Bartons best jump for the ladies was 52.7m (173 ft)


24th October 2004 Tri Lakes, Late Bloomers Record from Bennetts, Saturday saw Ryan Dodd put up the longest jump of 67.4m (221 ft) from Nick Bottcher with 64.9m.

Mandy Nightingale tricked a new US record scoring 8290 points with one of the best scores this year.

In the slalom event Regina Jaquess put up the best score with 0.50 @ 10.75m and in the mens event Marcus Brown scoring 5.00 @ 10.75m was just beaten by Ian Trapp half a buoy in front. click here for the results

23rd October 2004 McCormick Fall Open from Seffner saw Freddy Krueger jump 71.8 meters (235 ft) and if that distance sounds familiar, that's because Freddy has equaled Jimmys world record set at last years US Open.

22nd October 2004 Events this week end are 3 rounds of 3 events at the Tri Lakes, Late Bloomers Record from Bennetts in Zachary. Over at McCormick in Seffner is the McCormick Fall Open.

19th October 2004 Rumours are now official; The 2004 U.S. Open Water Ski Championships has been canceled. This now leaves only one stop left on the IWSF World Cup. Doha in Qatar will be the decider for the final points.

18th October 2004 Wakeboard World Championships from Seville in Spain on the Olympic Rowing site on the Guadalquiver River.

Out of record number of 144 Wakeboard Riders Phillipp Soven from the USA was on top for the men from Dean Smith with Robbie Rendo from Argentina for the ladies from Canadian Sheena Price. Inthe team event USA took the title from Australia.

17th October 2004 The University of Louisiana at Monroe take the title at the US Nationals Collegiate Championships from Bennetts Ski School Tri Lakes in Zachary.

Notable performances from Cale Burdick with 3.00 @ 10.75m, Jimmy Siemers with 6170 points from the one pass and Ryan Dodd with a best jump of 57.1m (187 ft)

Regina Jaquess dominated the ladies side of the event finishing first, second and third in slalom, tricks and jump.

12th October 2004 Starting on Thursday are the US Nationals Collegiate Championships from Bennetts Ski Scool Tri Lakes in Zachary.

After some outstanding results over recent weeks, this event with certainly furnish us with some of the years best results. We will bring you all the results from the event as they are officially posted.


11th October 2004 La Mancha's International Slalom, Spain. Second day saw an early start with the pro skiers off the dock first. This gave us a host of skiers into 10.75m line.

Top score of the day went to Ivan Morros scoring 6.00 @ 10.75m after skiing inside buoy one at 10.25m.

9th October 2004 Sesena International Slalom, Spain. Looks like the wind and rain are again after the water skiers!!

Strong winds forced the first day to be abandoned just after lunch time with home skier Ivan Morros holding off the rest of the field being the only skier to clear 11.25m and go on to score 3.00 @ 10.75m. Top of the girls was Michelle Simpson with 2.50 @ 12m

5th October 2004 This weekend the top event in Europe is in Spain with the International Slalom at Sesena near Toledo which will see some of the top European pro skiers in action.

Sesena was the venue for the Spanish Nationals back in July and is the ideal place to train in the region.

At this event last year they achieved 3 new National Records, Ivan Morros broke the Spanish men slalom record with 2.00 @10.25m.

Cristina Medem broke the Spanish women slalom record setting it at 0.50 @11.25m and Jaime Freitas broke the Portuguese men slalom record with 2 buoys on the 10.75m line.


4th October 2004 World Cup Changshu China.

Looks like the results for mens slalom are as stated with Chris Parrish winning with 4.00 @ 10.75m from Terry Winter. Kyle Eade and Michele Gallegra joint third with 3.50 @ 11.25m.

Joint fifth were Jeremy Newby-Ricci, Julio Javier, Glen Campbell and Chris Rossi all scoring 3.00 @ 11.25. Due to the high winds this event was run at 34 mph!

2nd October 2004 World Cup Changshu China. Again the wind has almost cancelled the even with what looks like the prelims counting for the event scores. What I can tell you is that Chris Parrish has won the mens slalom and Russell Gay the mens tricks with something like 8000 points.

The jump event is just not happening. As soon as we get all the details, will let you know


1st October 2004 World Cup Changshu China. High winds and rough water delay the event with tricks having to be stopped before the end.
