29th May 2005 While a select few were over at Calaway, the rest headed to the Ski Ranch Memorial Day Slalom Record.

This turned out to be a Ross show again with Doug coming off second best to Drew. Drew Ross ran the 10.75m pass in all 3 rounds to end up with a best score of 3.25 @ 10.25m. Michelle Simpson took the ladies honors with 4.50 @ 11.25m

29th May 2005 FINALS - 46th Masters Water Ski Tournament. Well it just gets better every weekend!! Top news from the masters is that Freddy Kreuger has done it again. The pending jump record now stands at a massive 72.5m (238ft).

Emma Sheers took the ladies title with 54.0m (177ft) from June Fladborg with 169ft.

Wins in the trick event for Nic le Forestier 10 260 and Mandy Nightingale 7350.

Karen Truelove ended up a comfortable winner scoring 1.00 @ 12m and Chris Parrish took the mens title from Jamie Beauschesne by half a buoy with 4.50 @ 10.75m.

28th May 2005 Held after the mens jump prelims, Night of Champions was an exciting, entertaining, and impacting water sports show intertwining analogies between Christian walk and water sports.

28th May 2005 Closest trick event I have ever seen! Both Regina Jaquess and Brandi Hunt occupying the top spot scoring 7000 points, with Mandy Nightingale third with 6760. Mens tricks equally as close, Nic le Forestier with 11 340, Jimmy 11 240 and Jaret with 11 040

Ladies slalom, Karen Truelove leads with the other 3 finalists all on the same score, Emma Sheers, Natalie Hamrick and Geraldine Jamin Mens event was a bit clearer with the new world record holder Chris Parrish leading from current Masters title holder Jamie Beauchesne and then Jodi Fisher.

Qualifiers for the mens jump final are topped by Freddy Krueger with 228 ft (69.5m) followed by Jaret Llewellyn 219 feet, Jason Seels 218 feet and Kyle Eade with 213 feet.

27th May 2005 As Chris Parrish starts his practice day at the 46th Masters Water Ski Tournament at Callaway in Pine Mountain, Georgia, the IWSF have announced that the record is approved.

26th May 2005 Want to learn to ski and get instruction by the best in the world???

Jaret said "Our goal for this first DVD in the series is to guide youngsters and beginner riders and get them hooked on the sport we all love.

The "Step in the Right Direction DVD" provides water sport coaching that alleviates the frustration of learning through trial and error.

25th May 2005 The Masters is back and this weekend will see Traditional jumping getting a long awaited and most welcome return.

Jaret will be looking to defend his jump title and get a piece of the record action. Last year Emma Sheers dominated with both jump and slalom titles with Jamie Beauchesne taking the mens event.

If everything goes to plan then the best place to watch all the action will be on line via planetnautique.com. They plan to stream the event live. I know that this is not an easy thing to do and I really hope they have all the connections to pull it off.

We will obviously still provide you with the best reports and results service available.


23rd May 2005 Its all confirmed! Jacks new ramp is the best in the world. PBs all round including 53.6m from June Fladborg. Good to see Jacki Hunter over 50 again with 50.7m. Emma Sheers takes the money at the Jack Travers Sunset Pro for Elite Ladies with a massive 54.3m (178ft)

As stated yesterday Freddy Krueger pushed the mens record to 72.0m (236ft) after a 68.5m in the first round from Kyle Eade on 66.3m

Nic le Forestier won the trick event with 11 170 points after a 9610 scare in the first round.

22nd May 2005 Preliminary scores from Jacks are that Emma Sheers jumped 54.3m (178ft) from June Fladborg with 176 feet.

In the mens jump yet another record falls with Freddy Krueger on form with an amazing 72.0m(236ft) These scores are not official, we will let you have them when it has all been confirmed.


18th May 2005 Pro Water ski Jumping will be at Sunset Lakes, Groveland this Sunday the 22nd of May.

Sunset Lakes boasts more World jump records set than any other site in the World.
This event is the first of the Fantasywaterski main season, so make sure you have your tean selected.

16th May 2005 Spoke to both Andy Mapple and Gerry Fowler (Masters Coordinator) and Andy is definatly not skiing in the Masters.

16th May 2005 Confirmed now that Chris Parrish scored 1.25 @ 9.75m (43 off) at Isles of Lake Hancock in Windermere Florida to establish a pending world record.

15th May 2005 Preliminary report in that Chris Parrish has become the first man to round buoy 2 on the 9.75m (43 off) line length to score 1.25 buoys. Maybe Andy knew this was going to happen, that's why he is rumored to be out of retirement and skiing in the Masters!!

15th May 2005 The Pickos family put on a trick skiing demonstration at the Ski Paridise Mothers Day event. Adam scored an incredible 8190 with Cory pushing even closer to the record with 11 800 points. Click here for all the results.

14th May 2005 WIT, Wakeboard Italian Tour, is a great new international competition with 150 challengers.

The best athletes in this sport will come from all over the world to fight for a Cash Prize amounting to € 30.000

14th May 2005 Preliminary World Ranking List updated by IWSF.   Slalom  Tricks  Jump  Overall

10th May 2005 Hailed as one of the most thrilling and spectacular events of the 2004 season The London Night Jump is on again on Sunday 28th August at Liquid Leisure Water Ski and Wakeboard. Click on the logo for the event web site.

This years event will see the top jumpers in the world descend on London to compete for 10,000 US Dollars.

During the day the athletes will take part in a preliminary round followed by the top 8 qualifiers in the final flood lit jump starting at 9pm.
9th May 2005 Bennetts Spring Tournament event saw some outstanding scores including 3.50 @ 10.25m (41 off) from Will Asher. Will ran the 10.75m line length in all 3 rounds. The jump scores will be in later as there was a problem with the measurement equipment.

2nd May 2005 Best score of the weekend goes to Chris Parrish at the McCormicks Spring Open on Saturday with 4.00 @ 10.25m. Chris was followed by Doug and Drew Ross with 2.00 and 1.50 @ 10.25m. Karen Truelove put up the top ladies score of 3.00 @ 10.75m Click here to see all the results.

Over at the Swiss Ski School on Sunday mens slalom went a similar way, only this time Drew Ross came out on top with 3.00 @ 10.25m from Parrish on 2.50 and Drew with 0.50. Click here to see all the results.


1st May 2005 Once again Jack Travers site is producing early season top scores. The weekends jump event at Sunset Lakes saw Freddy Krueger jump 236 feet, just short of the current World Record, with Brandi Hunt top of the ladies list with 50.9m (167ft)
