The 13th annual Blairfoot Bananza for barefoot water skiers around the USA will be held on October 7 &
8. Click for full details This will mark the sixth year that the increasingly
popular tournament will be held on Lake Silver in downtown Winter Haven. Last year this very successful
event attracted competitors from over 14 different states and 4 countries, making it an international
event.

Andy Mapple just edges out Wade Cox in the last Pro Tour final, Andy scoring 1.5@10.25m with Wade getting 1@10.25m.
The jump final saw a change around with Curtis Sheers winning on 67.5m (221ft) and Ryan Fitts second
jumping 66.4m (218ft). Toni Neville pulls off the double with 3.5@12m and 48.9m (160ft) after a jump off
with Emma Sheers.

5 buoys on the 10.75m line is enough move Andy Mapple closer to the slalom title in Canada ahead of Wade Cox
scoring 1 @ 10.75m. In jump Jaret Llewellyn performed with 65.8m (216 ft) in front of his home crowd,
just 1 foot ahead of Curtis Sheers going into the final.

First pro tour win for Scot Ellis with 64.9m (213 ft). Andy Mapple wins the run off with 3@10.75m
against Wade Cox and Jamie Beauchesne. Kristi Overton Johnson dominates scoring 3@11.25m ahead of
Karen Truelove scoring 6 buoys on the 12m line length.

A break from the world cup now for a month and back to the pro tour. This week end you have the 7th
pro tour stop from Portland and in the UK its the last stop of the Mastercraft British Tour combined
with the National Championships from John Battleday Water Ski at Reading.

Barefoot Central has brought two of Barefooting's most notable footers together to give their
coaching advice and debate the finer points of barefoot coaching techniques. All at

Andy Mapple and Chris Parrish both scored 4 @ 10.25m in the slalom final. This resulted in a run off which
saw the master at work. Andy scored 1 @ 9.75m which matched his world record.
Kristi Overton (1 @ 10.75m) continued her rule over the ladies slalom beating Toni Neville who scored
3 @ 11.25m. I sure this win makes her the World Cup Slalom Champion.
Curtis Sheers and Ryan Fitts maintaining their recent good form jumping 66.9m and 66.8m for a close finish
with Freddy Krueger just behind on 66.7m.
Emma Sheers jumping 51.4m was just beaten by Toni Neville with 51.8m

Bad weather stopped the men jumping today at Lendorf, but the ladies did. Britta was top qualifier with 49.7m Kristi Overton leads the slalom with 1.5 @ 10.25m as does Andy Mapple on 2 @ 10.25m.

The World Cup stop at Recetto saw Freddy Krueger take the points in the mens jump with 66.5m (218 ft) followed by Bruce Neville on 66.0m (217 ft) and Curtis Sheers and Ryan Fitts both with 65.8m (216 ft)
In ladies slalom, on form and unbeatable Kristi Overton won with 2.5 @ 10.75m ahead of Karen Truelove with 1.5 @ 10.75m and Sarah Gautty-Saunt just behind on 4.5 @ 11.25m

Lacaneau, The French Masters Final results in. Andy Mapple wins the slalom final, sailing close to his world record with 5 @ 10.25m. 66.2m nets Jaret the jump final, close behind both with 65.1m were Freddy Krueger
and Bruce Neville.

Lacaneau, The French Masters. Emma Sheers made sure of a final place leaping 50.0m ahead of Britta Llewellyns 49.4m. Nothing outstanding in the mens jump with plenty of safe distances to get the usual skiers into the final. Top with 65.0m is Jaret followed by Freddy Krueger on 64.2m

Slalom results in from Lacaneau, The French Masters.
Kristi Overton leads the ladies into the slalom final with 1.5 @ 10.75 ahead of Emma Sheers with 5.5 @ 11.25.
The mens slalon has been the hottest yet with 4 skiers getting into the 10.25m line. Top of the list are Chrish Parish and Andy Mapple with 2, Wade Cox with 1.5 and another Brit Glenn Campbell with 1 @ 10.25.
