It rained on and off for most of the day here in Dubna. The prelims will start on Friday at 1300 Russian time, thats 1000 UK time. I am working on a chat room for live chat and the live scoreboard. Links will be on this page by the time skiing starts. |

2007 Waterski World Cup - Russia
The first Stop of the 2007 Waterski World Cup will take place this Friday and Saturday from Dubna in Russia.
The event will feature the Trick and Jump event. PanAm competitors will be making their way from Brazil. We have just arrived at the hotel and should be able to bring you all the info as it happens.
As I understand the event will go out on a web cast via World Championship Sports Network, wcsn.com, but I am not sure if it is going to be live. Will up date you later.

The 15th Pan Am Games from Brazil
The event saw the Waterski finals on Monday with Witney McClintock, Mandy Nightingale and Regina Jaquess dominating all the ladies events. They finished first, second and third in all events. Whitney took gold in Slalom and tricks with Regina taking the jump title.
Tricky conditions with the wind saw the jump event halted on Sunday but all events were completed. Canada again dominated in the mens events with Jaret Llewellyn picking up two titles and Drew Ross receiving the gold medal in slalom.

Wiremill jump classic
Three rounds of jump at the Mill saw Jason Seels secure the top spot with 65.8m (216ft) from Tom Asher with 65.2m and Ryan Green 65.1m

French Malibu Open
Saturday saw Jamie Beauchesne push the slalom record a touch more with a score of 2.00 @ 9.75m (43off). When confirmed, this will be a new world record.
In Sundays finals Jamie again set the best score to take the top prize scoring 2.00 @ 10.25m. Chris Rossi was just behind with 1.50 @ 10.25m and a share of third place went to Jason Paredes, Jason Seels and Jodi Fisher all with 5.00 @ 10.75m
Natalie Hamrick won the ladies event scoring 2.50 @ 10.75m from Karen Truelove with 5.00 @ 11.25m
Freddy Krueger won Mens jump with 70.5m (231ft) from on form Jason Seels with 66.3m and Angeliki Andriopoulou took the title in the ladies event.
