RESULTS FOR COMPLETED EVENTS   Mens Slalom   Mens Tricks   Mens Jump   Ladies Slalom   Ladies Tricks   Ladies Jump

1530 30th July 2006 For the mens jump final we the best conditions of the day. Flat water and the sun out with no wind. Scot Ellis out first and set a 59.8m (195ft) for the rest to follow. Kyle Eade took the lead with 61.6m, all 3 of his jumps over 60m.

The most popular jumper with the crowd out next, Ryan Fitts. Ryan running the boat closer to the ramp than anyone else with a win or bust style had a look out the front on his first 48.9m jump but recovered in the air. The second jump was the money winner, Ryan flying 65.0m moving into the lead with three athletes still to go. Jimmy Siemers dressed in his motox body armour and skiing on Connolly jumpers sat back on the first for 56.2m. A longer second jump of 62.5m moving him into silver position with one attempt left. Slightly longer on the last with a best of 63.6m (209ft)

Freddy Krueger nice and smooth first jump of 63.9m moved him straight into second place. A 65.6m on his next moved Freddy into top position. Still not happy Freddy flew a bit further on the last with a 67.0m (220ft)

Last off the dock was Jaret Llewellyn on his own design Goodmans. Jaret crushed on his first, still going 62.0m for fourth place. Still needing over 5 more meters for the win Jaret went later and caught it all better with a 63.9m into third place. That was as far as Jaret was going as he crushed on the last jump of the day.

Freddy Krueger the winner with 67.0m Thousands in the crowd saw this and mobbed the skiers for autographs.

1430 30th July 2006 June Fladborg was first off the dock in the ladies jump final. She set a massive 48.5m (159ft). Clementine who made it to all 3 finals put in a 47.7m. Next up was Maria Vibranietsova, with a best jump of 45.9m. Still leaving Jump in the top spot. Last skier out was Angeliki Andriopoulou. Really trying hard right from the first attempt with 46.0m securing 3rd place on her first jump. Second jump was shorter with 45.1m and then crushing on her third handing the title to June Fladborg

1330 30th July 2006 Mens trick event was won by Nic Le Forestier with 11 500 points. Nic pulled a muscle in the prelims, so recovered well. Aliaksei Zharnasek second with 10 870 from Jaret with 10 560.

1230 30th July 2006 Ladies tricks. Mandy Nightingale set a 7320 points Danyelle had a moment at the end of her toe pass to score 6560 and Angeliki scored 5780. Clementine Lucine stood up all the way to score 8510. All scores are subject to review for time or scores, but I don't think Clementine can be beaten.

1100 30th July 2006 Mans slalom saw Chris Parrish fall on his first pass. It looked like he just didn't get hold of the handle round 5. Aaron Larkin set the target of 2.00 @ 10.75m. Jamie matched Aarons score with only Jodi Fisher left to go. Jodi made it to buoy 3 to take the title.

1030 30th July 2006 Karen Truelove wins ladies slalom with 2.50 @ 11.25m from Sarah Green.

0930 30th July 2006 Much better conditions today for the finals. There is no wind, the river is flat and it looks like the sun will come out. Action starts at 10am with the slalom finals

Just to remind you that there are 4 ladies and 6 men in each final.

1815 29th July 2006 Mens jump leader is Jaret Llewellyn with 65.6m (215ft) from Freddy Krueger on 62.7m. Jason Seels failed to make the final after a spectacular out the front on his first jump. Jason was OK.

1630 29th July 2006 Ladies jump saw a one/two from Greece with Angeliki in the lead with 49.2m (161 ft) from Maria Vibranietsova with 46.9m.

The other two qualifiers were Clem Lucine 46.6m and June Fladborg 45.6m.

1330 29th July 2006 Big scores for the ladies in the short board with Clementine Lucine scoring 8030 points. An early fall for Anais Amade saw her miss the final. The four in the final are Clementine, Danyelle Bennett, Angeliki and Mandy Nightingale.

1200 29th July 2006 Water conditions are not perfect, there is still a firm wind travelling across the slalom course. Shock early exits for Glenn Campbell, Drew Ross, Will Asher and Thomas Degasperi. Top of the list is Jodi Fisher, the only skier to complete the 11m pass to score 1.00 @ 10.75m

1000 29th July 2006 Ladies slalom complete, results on line now. Close run thing with only four girls going into the final. Clementine Lucine and Anais Amade had the same score with 2.00 @ 12.00m to tie in fourth place. No run offs this year as the highest ranked skier goes through. Michelle Simpson had the top spot with 2.00 @ 11.25m from Karen Truelove 0.50 @ 11.25m and Sarah Green 3.50 @ 12.00m
