The Goode US Water Ski National Championships.

Spanish National Championships at the Sesena Training Centre near Toledo. 3rd August 2004 Last week I spent some time in Spain and went to the Spanish National Championships at the Sesena Training Centre near Toledo. This site is run by Ricardo Botas, one of the world's best tournament drivers.

Having last visited the event 2 years ago I was amazed at the improvement of the Spanish youngsters. The event attracted big media interest, being televised locally and sponsored by Alfa Romeo and clothing manufacturer Torro Loco.

The skiers had ideal conditions and prizes were presented by local government officials.

The only disappointment was that the Spanish Federation failed to take any interest in the event.

We done to all skiers particularly Ivan Morros winning the mens slalom with 4.00 @ 10.75m and Guiller Moreno winning the mens jump with 52.6m.
