Over at the Jumpin Jack Flash event Mike Morgan puts in another
outstanding performance over the 2 rounds with 1.50@10.25m and a 3.00@10.25m.
In the ladies jump, Marina Mosti had a best jump of 52.1m (171 ft) and the mens event went to Aurelien Serrault with 65.6m (215ft)

The Isles Record from Winter Gardens saw Russell Gay scored 11 290
points in the trick event and in the slalom event Doug Ross scored 3.00@10.75m with Drew taking the top spot with 2.00@10.25m.
A Ross one two only split by Mike Morgan with a massive 1.00@10.25m.
In the ladies slalom, another score under 11 with Michelle Simpson scoring 2.00@10.75m.

Just to let you all know that the MasterCraft Pro event original listed
on the same date as the 2 UK events has now been moved.
It will be on the weekend of the 13th to the 15th of August.

Australian National Tournament Championship from Bonney's WA Water Ski Park saw Ryan Green take the mens overall with a 62.8m jump. Curtis Sheers put up the longest jump of the tournament to win gold with 65.0m.
Joel Wing rounded 2 buoys on the 10.75m line and scored 10 490 points for gold in slalom and tricks.
On the ladies side Emma Sheers won the jump and slalom with 0.50@10.75m and 52.2m.
Overall went to Karen Jackson from Victoria.

2004 Pan Am Region Water Ski Tournament. Well the final results are now available and it's a clean sweep for Canada in the open mens event.
5.00@10.75m for Doug Ross in the slalom final. Jaret Llewellyn take both the Jump and trick events with 10 700 pts from Jimmy Siemers on 10 200 pts and in jump with the longest leap of the tournament of 67.5m from first round leader Freddie Krueger with 67.4m.
The performance of Jimmy Siemers needs a mention as all his equipment was stolen before the event.
In the ladies event Regina Jaquess put in a solid showing all round, 2nd in slalom with 5.00@12.00m, 1st in tricks with 7 090 and 4th in the jump event with44.6m.
Karen Truelove maintained her 1st round lead to win the slalom with 1.00@10.75mt and Rhoni Barton did the same in the jump final with the best distance of the week 47.5m.
All in all a great week hampered a bit by the weather, but nether the less some quality scores to set the standard for the season.

Canadian clean sweep in the mens event, Jaret wins the Jump and tricks.

2004 Pan Am Region Water Ski Tournament. One two for the Ross duo in slalom in round 2 with Doug scoring 5.00@10.75m and Drew 4.00@10.75m. In the Ladies slalom Karen Truelove improved on her first round lead to score 1.00@10.75m from Regina on 3.00@11.25m.
In the Jump event things went to plan for Freddy Krueger, his best score of 67.2m enough to stay at the top from Jaret Llewellyn with 65.5m and Jimmy Siemers with 64.6m. In the ladies event the leader is Rhoni Barton with 46.0m.

2004 Pan Am Region Water Ski Tournament. A most impressive start to the event was made by Javier Julio from Argentina, leading the trick event with 10 270 points and 2nd in slalom scoring 2.00@10.75m.
Jaret was just 20 points behind and 4th in slalom. First in slalom at the moment is Nick Fuldauer from Brazil scoring 3.00@10.75m.
In the jump event the big jumpers are still to come, but we have seen the juniors and seniors out with the best so far being U21 USA skier Brody Reid with a best distance of 54.6m (179 feet)

Today sees the start of the 2004 Pan Am Region Water Ski Tournament from Bujama Lacus near Lima in Peru. Its difficult getting info this time, but will try to keep you updated as best we can.

athlete’s world wide to join a new organization, WaterskiPros, created for the advancement and expansion of water skiing.
